National Entrepreneur of the Year Joins Miner Fleet Management Group
Return
Paul Verrochi, founder of Coach USA and winner of Inc. Magazine’s National Entrepreneur of the Year for Emerging Companies, has joined Miner Fleet Management Group as a partner.
Prior to joining Miner, Paul served as Chairman of Oakleaf Waste Management Group in East Hartford, Connecticut. The company coordinates the removal and recycling of waste for retail, restaurant, hospitality, manufacturing and property management industries.
According to Phil Miner, Chairman of Miner Holding Company, “Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to help us better position ourselves in the market place. His extensive experience in consolidating highly fragmented service businesses will be a tremendous asset as we move towards our goal of growing Miner Fleet Management three fold in the upcoming years.”
If Verrochi’s past results at American Medical Response, Inc. are indicative of what is ahead on Miner’s horizon, the company is headed for an exciting few years. At American Medical Response, Verrochi took the company from $106 million to $900 million in just four years. “His strength in strategic planning, and more specifically marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and systems will be instrumental in executing our growth plans,” said Jeff Schmeck, President & CEO of Miner Fleet Management Group.
As a partner with Miner Fleet Management Group, Paul will lead the company’s strategic planning initiatives. In addition to Verrochi’s business interests, Verrochi is active in the Boston, MA community. He serves on the boards of the Children’s Hospital Trust, New England Aquarium, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
