Miner Expands Into Florida

San Antonio, Texas – November 6, 2006 - The Miner Corporation, a material handling industry leader based in New Braunfels, Texas, has opened its first full service company in Florida. The new company, Miner Florida, is the exclusive distributor for Kelley Dock Products in Central and North Florida.
The entry into the Florida market is led by Mike McAuliffe, a veteran of the material handling industry with more than 30 years of experience. Mike will serve as the Southeast Regional Manager and will be based in Orlando, Florida. Jeff Schmeck, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, commented, “Mike is a proven pioneer in our industry. His experience and knowledge are instrumental as we work to establish our brand and reputation in Florida.”
Miner Florida will provide new equipment and service to retailers, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities. Primary product lines will include loading dock equipment, dock seals and shelters, trailer restraints, sectional, rolling and high speed doors, and waste handling equipment.
