San Antonio, Texas – October 16, 2006 – Miner Fleet Management Group, a material handling industry leader based in San Antonio, Texas, is among the Top 10 companies selected for the 2nd annual Aggie 100 list. Miner Fleet Management Group ranked #7 on this year’s Aggie 100 list of the fastest-growing companies owned and operated by Texas A&M University former students.

“We are pleased to honor our successful former students and highlight their accomplishments,” explained Richard M. Scruggs, Director, Center for New Venture and Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University. “Miner Fleet Management Group has achieved a great deal in its history and we’d like to think that has a lot to do with the work ethic, integrity, and knowledge gained from their leadership’s association with Texas A&M University.”

This year’s group of entrepreneurs and leaders produced combined revenue in excess of $5 billion in 2005 with an average growth rate per year of 52 percent between 2003 and 2005. This came as no surprise to Phil Miner, CEO and Co-Founder of Miner Fleet Management Group, who stated that “entrepreneurs by nature are never satisfied and are always looking for the next opportunity.”

“We feel honored to have our third company recognized by such a prestigious institution like Texas A&M University,” continued Miner. Miner Fleet Management Group joins two other Miner companies that were recognized in the inaugural class of the Aggie 100. Miner Houston, located in Houston, Texas, and Miner Southwest, located in Phoenix, Arizona, received the prestigious award in 2005.

The announcement of this year’s Aggie 100 class was made during a formal luncheon at The Zone Club on the Texas A&M campus. “To be in the room with these 100 companies was both inspiring and humbling at the same time. The entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm, and emotion displayed by the recipients is energizing to say the least,” commented Jeff Schmeck, President and Co-Founder of Miner Fleet Management Group.
