The Miner Corporation Teams with HEB to Raise Funds for United Way.
For the past three years the HEB Facility Alliance Team (Construction) has constructed an 18 hole miniature golf course. Vendors are invited to participate by "supporting a hole" and assist with award prizes. This year The Miner Corporation took their involvement a step further and created the first vendor sponsored hole.
Matt Dirienzo, President, got his team together and began working on a 6’ x 20’ replica of the back end of an HEB warehouse - complete to a 1” x 1’ scale with HEB trucks unloading, working FX docklevelers, and a baler. The hole was a huge success and the team had a great time putting it together.
According to Matt Dirienzo, “It is very rewarding to build relationships that allow us to participate with our customers’ charitable causes. Our employees had a wonderful time, and we helped raise money for a good cause.”
